Savvy Aldi Deals 2/7 ~

Aldi has the best produce deals around on a regular basis. You can beat them only when other stores are running weekly sales. Sometimes their produce is questionable but I have found if I shop on Monday or Tuesday (this is the beginning of their sales week) everything is fresh.

Here's what I found this week:

Granny Smith Apples 3lbs $1.49
Bananas $0.39/lb
Tomatoes 4pk 24oz $1.69
Mushrooms $1.29
Baking Potatoes 5lbs $1.99
Red Grapes 2lb box $2.98
Cantaloupe $0.99
*the cantaloupe wasn't all the way ripe but this is the way I like it. After sitting on the counter for a couple of days, it'll be perfect. This gives me more choices on when I want to serve it.

Friendly Farms Whole Milk (gallon) $2.50

~Aldi DOES NOT accept coupons.
~Most of the products are generic or international labels.
~You must deposit $0.25 to use a cart - it will be returned to you when you return the cart.
~Take your own shopping bags as they do not supply them and you pack your own groceries (you may purchase paper grocery bags for $0.05 ea or Aldi reusable totes for $1.99)
~Aldi does not accept  personal checks.
