Review & Giveaway: Pillsbury Ready-to-Bake Turkey-shaped Sugar Cookies ~

I don't know about you but sometimes I find it hard to have the kids in the kitchen with me.

There are times when things are relaxed and leisurely, and then it's fun to bake with them and take a bit of extra time to teach or let them learn from hands on experience.

And then there are the times when I'm in  a hurry, or it's been a hectic day. It seems like these are the days when they ask to "bake cookies" or something. The last thing I feel like doing is messing up the kitchen or trying on my patience!

Truth be told, they don't so much care WHAT we bake as they care about SPENDING TIME with me. So for those moments I'm glad there are products like Pillsbury Ready-to-Bake cookies. Convenient and tastes like Homemade!

And to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, why not let your child contribute to the Holiday Fare by baking a batch of Tukey-shaped Pillsbury Ready-to-Bake Sugar Cookies? Just place the cookies on your baking sheet, pop them into the oven, and within minutes you’ll have delicious home-baked treats to share with your kids.

While Pillsbury offers up several different kinds of  Ready-to-Bake cookies, the Turkey-shaped Sugar Cookies are only available for a limited time so you'll want to get out this weekend and pick some up!

To make it easier, General Mills and My Blog Spark are providing one  Pillsbury “Thanksgiving Fun” gift pack to give away to one lucky reader. The gift-pack includes includes a coupon for a free package of the Pillsbury Thanksgiving Shape® sugar cookies, as well as a turkey-shaped stress reliever, pencil and finger puppet.

To enter this giveaway, simple leave a comment below telling me what is your favorite Thanksgiving dessert?

Because we want you to be able to try these cookies before they're gone, this giveaway will end at midnight tonight (Friday, 11/20). The winner will be contacted by email and will have until end of day on Saturday to contact me with their mailing address.

Hurry! And enter now...and be sure to leave your email address!

Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters Review and Giveaway ~

General Mills is doing a big push on this new product. We've seen great sales and great coupons on this product in the last couple of months. And if the empty shelves at Homeland are any indication, it seems that everyone in the Oklahoma City Metro area has tried these.

Recently, My Blog Spark sent me a sample of all four varieties of Nature Vally Granola Nut Clusters to try.

What they didn't know is...I'm already HOOKED!

Since they hit the store shelves and we received our first coupon, I've been consuming these things like I can't remember my last meal.

My favorite flavor is the Roasted Almond with first runner up being the Roasted Cashew.

I thought my least favorite flavor would be the Nut-Lovers, which is a mix of cashews, pecans and peanuts because I'm not a big fan of pecans or peanuts. But lo and behold, I like this kind too! And the Honey Roasted Peanut is pretty easy to swallow as well.

Besides being absolutely delicious, here's what I love about Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters:

*Bite Size - the perfect size for snacking (and taking on marathon shopping trips)

*100% Natural ingredients including roasted nuts, whole grain oats and honey.
*Nutritious - Each serving (about 7 clusters) contains 5 grams of protein, 1 gram of dietary fiber and 7 grams of the good kind of fat.

And thanks to General Mills and My Blog Spark, one of Simple Saving Savvy's blessed readers will have a chance to try all four varieties for FREE plus receive the great prize pack pictured below. The prize pack includes:
*Four (4) varieties of the Granola Nut Clusters
*Sling Backpack
*Stainless Steel Water Bottle
*Rechargeable Flashlight
*Binoculars
