Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done. 1 Chronicles 16:8

Give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and wonderful deeds. Psalm 107:21

A friend of mine commented the other day on facebook about how there are so many people who just seem to be "generally" thankful during this time of year. They're thankful for their family, for their jobs, for their stuff. But who are they thankful TO?

To be truly thankful, there has to be a recipient of that gratefulness.

And for Believers, that recipient is God. For it is from Him that all things come to us. He is where our gratefulness should be directed.

And this year I have much to be thankful to Him for...my wonderful husband, my children, the awesome and rewarding ministry He has entrusted me with and all of you!

But most of all, once again, I am thankful for the awesome and mighty work He has done and is doing in me. I am so thankful not to be what I once was and to know that through Jesus Christ I am SAVED and truly a NEW CREATION!

I pray each of you know this same gratefulness!
