My Target Trip 4/20/09

I decided to post my trip to Target today for this reason:

I hear quite often: "You can only save money if you buy junk." How untrue....as you can see from this picture, I bought grapes, healthy salad mix, 93% ground turkey, 93%ground beef and new Smart Food snacks.

Here's a run down of what I got:
(2) Ground Turkey @ $2.99
(2) Ground Beef @ $2.99
(4) Dole Salad Mix (baby spinach, baby greens, spring mix) @ $1.99
(1) grapes @ $2.31 (2.33 lbs @ $0.99/lb.)
(2) Hostess Donettes @ $1.99
(2) Smart Food @ $3.00
(2) Kraft Dressing @ $1.59
(2) Wisp @ $1.99
(1) Target reusable tote (I was feeling green today, what can I say!)

Total before coupons: $40.36 (plus tax)

Total after coupons: $26.36
Used (2) $10 GCs I received for filling (2) new prescriptions last week towards the balance.

Total OOP: $6.36 plus $2.59 tax = $8.95
