Target Deal Idea ~

In my Savvy Target Deals post for this week, I posted the following deal:

A-1 Steak Sauce $2.09
Use $2/1 SS 8/16
Final Cost: $0.09

To make this deal even sweeter, stop by Homeland and pick up some tearpads (there are still tons left) from the Kraft endcap. These tearpads are buy (3) participating Kraft products (A-1 happens to be one of them) and save $2 on meat. (There's also one for save $2 off bagged salad with the same criteria if you prefer).

Ground beef (80/20) is on sale at Target for $1.49/lb this week. So you could buy (3) A-1, pay $0.27 out of pocket and get a pound of ground beef FREE!

Thanks Stacy for reminding me about this.

I only buy lean ground beef for my family BUT you can still do this deal, pay $0.27 for A-1 and then pay only $1.99/lb for 93/7 ground beef. That's a great deal too!

Here's the kicker....my family doesn't even eat A-1 !!!! BUT if I can pay $0.27 out of pocket to save $1.73/lb ($2.00 - $0.27 = $1.73) on my ground beef, well, the A-1 will go into my donation pile!

Also, Target had a $1 coupon for Sutton & Dodge? steak or roast printable. We have been doing that to get some pretty cheap steak! Man, I should have mentioned this to you a long time ago!

Maybe you're finding some deals I'm not. But even with the $1 coupon, I'm still too cheap! LOL. But I'd love to hear about the deals you're finding. ~Amanda

I have been getting a pound of steak for around $3/lb. With potatoes or rice and two other vegetables, we can all eat it for one meal. I guess you all would have to buy a lot more though.

That's not bad though. If I buy a pound of lean ground beef without a sale, it's at least $3. Maybe I should keep a closer eye out. My husband would be so appreciative! ~ Amanda
