CVS ~ Policy Update ~

If you've shopped at CVS recently, you may have already figured this out, but their policy has changed with regards to sales tax.

It used to be that you did not have to pay sales tax on the amount of your purchase you paid for with ECBs. For example, if your subtotal was $20.00 and you were using $12.98 in ECBs to pay toward your balance, sales tax would only be calculated on $7.02.

This has changed. You will now pay sales tax on your entire purchase.
